Formed two years ago, the Vattenfall Heat team in the UK has secured its first two major contracts and has a healthy pipeline and a reputation for disrupting and challenging the market- particularly in regards to driving environmental performance of heat solutions.
2020 will see us further developing projects throughout their lifecycle, from early negotiation to closing deals and managing contracts during construction and operation.
Vattenfall is therefore searching for people to join our Engineering Department within the District Heating Business to work on development, execution and asset management of projects in London and Edinburgh.
We have different roles available, on junior, intermediate and senior level. What is important to us is that you have knowledge of and/or experience in the Development, Execution or Asset Management phase of building projects preferably within District Heating.
What are the responsibilities?
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of zero-carbon district heating and cooling solutions. To be successful in this role you will have a good understanding of both commercial and technical principles and challenges of developing new district heating and cooling projects.
You will be working on development, construction or asset management of new district heating projects.
What do we expect from you?
• You are passionate about the decarbonisation of the energy industry
• You have a degree in Engineering or equivalent professional qualifications
• You have the ability to interface seamlessly between technical, commercial, operations, construction and legal specialists
• High motivation to contribute to Vattenfall’s ambitions, a self-starter and goal-oriented
• You are diligent and with attention to detail

The location of this position is London or Edinburgh. This job is available as a FLEXIBLE HOURS role and as a JOB SHARE.
