Amy Sanders-Mutch
Business Development Manager - Bristol

Amy Mutch is Business Development Manager for the Bristol heat network, where she plays a central role in expanding the low carbon heat network across the city as part of the Bristol City Leap partnership.
In her role, Amy works closely with a wide range of stakeholders to progress new connections to the heat network. Alongside securing new customers, she leads on developing and project managing government funding applications that underpin the business case for expansion and decarbonisation. Her work has led to successful applications that enable the continued build-out of the Bristol heat network and help deliver the city’s ambitious 2030 net zero commitments.
Before joining Vattenfall Heat UK, Amy supported Bristol City Council’s pioneering heat network team, contributing to the preparatory work for Bristol City Leap. Earlier in her career, she gained experience in project coordination and client engagement working for a design consultancy. With a background spanning public and private sector delivery, finance, and stakeholder engagement, Amy brings a pragmatic and people centred approach to strategic development.
Passionate about working for a project that provides real social value, Amy is committed to ensuring that Bristol’s transition to low carbon heat is collaborative, community led and grounded in long term sustainability.
