Marie-claire Overton

Marie-claire is an Account Director focused on the growth of our Bristol heat network. She works with developers, consultants, design teams, and stakeholders to connect properties in Bristol to the network, bringing together strategic, engineering, and commercial insights in a clear and practical way.

She has spent over 30 years working in the built environment across Bristol and the southwest in architecture, construction, and engineering. Two years ago, she moved into the heat network sector and calls it the most rewarding part of her career so far thanks to the impact it makes and the great people she works with.

Marie-claire is passionate about Bristol and believes the heat network is a game-changer for the city’s sustainability goals. She believes decarbonising at a city-scale delivers more than just securing low carbon heat, it also brings investment, local jobs, and social value that individual building solutions can’t match.
