Michael Collins

Mike is the Head of Delivery for Major Projects, responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of each Major Project across our three regions.

The Major Projects team focuses on shaping and delivering our largest and most complex energy infrastructure projects. In his role, Mike ensures successful execution—delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the right technical and quality standards.

Operating across all regions, Mike brings a wealth of experience in project and portfolio management within construction and engineering, spanning industries such as manufacturing, airports, residential, and rail. His career includes working on both the client side and as a principal contractor, giving him a comprehensive perspective on project delivery.

A Chartered Project Manager (ChPP), Mike joined Major Projects in Bristol as a Senior Project Manager, later advancing to Programme Manager before assuming his current role. 

He is driven by the belief that the biggest challenges are the best opportunities, that continuous improvement is essential and that enjoying the work we do is just as important.
