Vattenfall reaches major milestone at Brent Cross Town

We’re pleased to announce that the Brent Cross Town heat network achieved a major milestone last week as we adopted the heat network’s temporary energy centre from Related Argent.

As the energy partner for Related Argent at Brent Cross Town, we will deliver and operate the development’s heat network. The heat network’s temporary energy centre will supply reliable heat to Brent Cross Town’s first residents using gas boilers whilst the main energy centre is constructed.

Once the main energy is completed, it will take over supply, in time delivering low carbon heating and hot water to over 6,700 homes and three million square feet of commercial space as one of the largest fully-electric main energy centres in Europe.

Congratulations to the project team who have been working hard in collaboration with Related Argent to achieve this milestone and to the London team for their continued work decarbonising heat in the capital. We look forward to the next phase of the project in 2025.
